Add Device signals targeting Workflow

This section guides you through the workflow for setting the Add Device signals targeting parameters in the Deal Portal. For the Add Device signals targeting field details, see the Data Dictionary for Add Device signals targeting section.

Add Device Signals targeting

Follow these steps to set the options for Add Device Signals Targeting parameters:

  1. Add Device signals targeting
    • Click to expand the Add Device signals targeting section. This section allows you to target your deal based on browser language, device make, and device OS.
  1. Browser Language
    • From the Browser Language dropdown menu,select either the Allow or Block option. The default option is set to Allow.
      • Allow: When you select the Allow option, you permit your selected browser language to display your ads.
      • Block: When you select the Block option, you restrict your selected browser language to display your ads.

    • From the dropdown list, click to select one or more Browser Language options you want to allow or block for your ads. As a result your deal will be passed downstream to DSPs only for requests that are coming from devices using specific languages. You can choose from the following options::

    • After you select the Browser Language option, your selected Browser Language option will be automatically added and saved to your deal.
    • Remove selected Browser Language option from selection.
      • To remove your selected Browser Language option, click the x next to it. The option will be removed from your deal.
      • To remove all selected Browser Language options, click the Remove All X button located at the bottom of the selection box. The selected Click Through Rate options will be cleared, leaving the selection box empty.

  1. Device Make
    • From the Device Make dropdown menu, select either the Allow or Block option.
      • Allow: When you select the Allow option, you permit the selected device make to display your ads campaign.
      • Block: When you select the Block option, you restrict the selected device make from displaying your ads campaign.

    • From the dropdown list, click to select click to select any one Device Make option you want to allow for your deal. You can select from the following options..

    • After you select the Device Make option, your selected option will be automatically added and saved for your ads.
    • Remove selected Device Make option from selection
      • To remove your selected Device Make option, click the x next to it. The option will be removed from your deal.
      • To remove all selected Device Make options, click the Remove All X button located at the bottom of the selection box. The selected Video Completion Rate options will be cleared, leaving the selection box empty.

    • From the Device OS dropdown menu, select the Allow option. This is the default option available.
      • Allow: When you select the Allow option, you permit your selected Device OS to display your ads..

    • From the dropdown list, click to select one or more Device OS options you want to allow for your ads.

    • After you select the Device OS option, your selected option will be automatically added and saved for your ads. As a result your deal will be passed downstream to DSPs only for requests that are coming from the devices with selected Operating System.
    • Remove selected Device OS option from selection
      • To remove your selected Device OS option, click the x next to it. The option will be removed from your deal.
      • To remove all selected Device OS options, click the Remove All X button located at the bottom of the selection box. The selected CTV Content Rating options will be cleared, leaving the selection box empty.
